Canadian Welding Co. Can't Escape Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (May 23, 2011, 6:12 PM EDT) -- A federal judge in Washington state on Thursday denied a bid by AMH Canada Ltd. to dismiss an antitrust suit brought by Automotive Repair Corp. claiming that AMH has conspired to restrain trade of ARC's welders.

U.S. District Judge Lonny Suko denied AMH's motion to dismiss, in which the company argued that ARC's complaint consisted of mere speculation and alleged no facts to make its claims plausible.
