Military Advisory Chair Praises Global Warming Bill

Law360, New York (May 14, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In the wake of a critical report, the chairman of the Military Advisory Board has lent his support to new legislation that seeks to evaluate the effects of global warming on military operations.

On Wednesday, General Gordon R. Sullivan, who formerly served as chief of staff of the U.S. Army offered his support for the H.R. 1961, known as the Global Climate Change Security Oversight Act.
