Nammo Talley Sues Insurers Over Cleanup Coverage

Law360, New York (May 23, 2011, 2:21 PM EDT) -- Defense contractor Nammo Talley Inc. sued Allstate Insurance Co. and several other insurers in Arizona on Friday, seeking coverage for contamination cleanup efforts at a weapons and aerospace materials manufacturing site.

Nammo Talley, formerly known as Talley Industries Inc., said the insurers each had a duty to defend or indemnify the company over the investigation and remediation of lead, perchlorate and other contamination in and around the site in Mesa, Ariz., relying on primary comprehensive general liability and excess general liability insurance policies issued between 1966...
