Texas Senate Committee Passes 'Loser Pays' Bill

Law360, New York (May 23, 2011, 9:44 PM EDT) -- A bill that would create a so-called loser pays legal system passed out of committee in the Texas Senate on Saturday with a number of revisions that won the support of defense attorneys, trial lawyers and proponents of tort reform.
