Law Firm Leaders See Increased Growth In 2011: Survey

Law360, New York (May 24, 2011, 7:13 PM EDT) -- Law firm leaders are confident the bad times brought on by the recession are on the way out, although some changes in the way firms do business — like increased alternative billing — may linger, according to a survey released Tuesday.

Ninety-five percent of firms surveyed plan to increase billing rates in 2011, and 66 percent of firms say they increased gross revenue in 2010, according to Altman Weil Law Inc.'s Firms in Transition Survey 2011.
