Lawmakers Ask ITC To Probe Foreign Jet Competition

Law360, New York (May 24, 2011, 2:55 PM EDT) -- A House committee asked the U.S. International Trade Commission on Monday to launch an investigation into the competitiveness of the U.S. business jet aircraft industry in the wake of new foreign competitors' entry into the market.

Ways and Means Committee chairman Dave Camp, R-Mich., fired off a letter to the ITC, seeking an investigation into the competitiveness of the business jet aircraft industry in the U.S., Brazil, Canada, Europe and China.
