Par’s ANDA Leads To Infringement Suit

Law360 (May 14, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Ortho-McNeil Inc. and three fellow drug makers have sued Par Pharmaceutical Companies Inc. to prevent it from marketing a generic version of chronic pain medication Ultram ER.

In a complaint filed Wednesday with the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, Ortho-McNeil, a unit of Johnson & Johnson; Purdue Pharma LP; Napp Pharmaceuticals Ltd.; and Biovail Corp. accused Par of patent infringement.
