Home Depot Suit Moved To District Court

Law360, New York (May 14, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A class action suit filed against Home Depot Inc. that accuses the retailer of violating federal labor law has been moved from state to federal court.

Although the case was originally filed in the Circuit Court of Palm Beach County, Home Depot requested a removal of the case to district court. The court agreed to removal on the grounds that “plaintiff’s complaint clearly raises a federal question.”
