Nevertheless, the Middle East has always proven capable of sustaining significant corporate activity with viable capital and credit alternatives during periods of political instability. Given the region’s tremendous growth potential and increasingly progressive regulatory environment, investors will likely again see an upsurge in cross-border M&A activity throughout the region.
