NLRB To Hear Case Over Unfair Union Practices

Law360 (May 15, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The National Labor Relations Board is set to hear a lawsuit over allegedly unfair union practices brought by a leader in the security industry for the Chicago area.

The case arises from a complaint brought before the Board in October by Wackenhut Corp. against Service Employees International Union Local 1 and the Chicago Building Owners and Manager’s Association, alleging the union tried to enforce “top down” organizing tactics.
