White Collar Star Named Top White House Atty

Law360, New York (June 2, 2011, 8:14 PM EDT) -- The White House said Thursday that former U.S. attorney and Latham & Watkins LLP white collar partner Kathryn Ruemmler would become White House counsel following the departure of current counsel Bob Bauer.

Ruemmler, who currently holds the deputy counsel post, gained fame as the lead U.S. attorney in charge of the prosecutions of Enron Corp.'s former CEOs.
