Liberty Fails To Exit Tainted Rice Coverage Suits

Law360, New York (June 8, 2011, 3:32 PM EDT) -- While an Arkansas federal judge said Wednesday that Liberty Mutual Insurance has no duty to defend Riceland Foods Inc. in one lawsuit over rice supplies contaminated by genetically modified crops, she refused to rule similarly on more than 170 other complaints.
