Copyright Suit Seeks Demolition Of Trump Resort

Law360, New York (November 5, 2004, 12:00 AM EST) -- An architect who claims Donald Trump’s company stole his unique design for a hotel complex has filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against the real-estate developer, seeking to demolish a resort currently under construction.

The lawsuit, filed last week by Miami architect Paul Oravec in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, names Donald J. Trump, the Trump Corp., the architect for the Trump Palace and Trump Royale towers, two development companies and residents of the complex as defendants.
