OSHA Proposes New Safety Equipment Rules

Law360 (May 18, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Workers will be required to wear more modern masks, goggles and boots to meet federal safety standards under new rules proposed by the U.S. Department of Labor.

The DOL’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration proposed to update personal protective equipment standards on Thursday for general industry, shipyard, longshoring, and marine terminal workers.
