Quellos Tax Schemer Gets 32 Months

Law360, New York (June 14, 2011, 11:57 AM EDT) -- A federal judge in Washington state on Friday sentenced Harvard-educated lawyer and tax fraudster Matthew G. Krane of Quellos Group LLC to 32 months in prison for faking a passport application.

Krane pled guilty in December 2009 in Washington state, and was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Ricardo S. Martinez. Two of his accomplices, Jeffrey Greenstein and Charles Wilk, are already in prison, serving 50-month sentences.
