Goodyear Says Rival Poached Manager For Trade Secrets

Law360, New York (June 15, 2011, 8:26 PM EDT) -- The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. filed a lawsuit in Ohio federal court on Wednesday seeking an order banning a rival from hiring a former manager and stealing its trade secrets.

In addition to an order barring Continental Tire the Americas LLC from hiring David Young, Goodyear wants a preliminary and permanent injunction preventing Continental from using any information Young has provided about Goodyears's truck tire production methods.

The Cleveland-based tire giant also wants Continental to pay damages for allegedly violating the Ohio Uniform Trade Secrets...
