NXP-Dover $855M Deal Wins Antitrust Approval In China

Law360, New York (June 15, 2011, 5:05 PM EDT) -- A Chinese regulatory authority has approved the sale of NXP Semiconductors NV's Sound Solutions division to U.S.-based Dover Corp. for $855 million, clearing the way for a finalized sale in early July.

The companies noted the development Tuesday in filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, with the approval ending months of speculation about the fate of the deal.
