Target Recalls 375K Booster Seats Over Broken Buckles

Law360, New York (June 15, 2011, 6:55 PM EDT) -- Target Corp. voluntarily recalled 375,000 booster seats Wednesday over reports that the seats' restraint buckles can open unexpectedly, two years after the retail giant called back a subset of the products over the same issue.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced that Target was recalling all Circo Child Booster Seats following 10 consumer complaints about the buckles malfunctioning, with three reports of children suffering bumps or bruises after they fell from the seat.

Target called back 43,000 of the same booster seats in August 2009....
