FTC's Call To Enjoin Equitable-Peoples Deal Denied

Law360, New York (May 21, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A district court judge on Monday denied the Federal Trade Commission’s request for an injunction against Equitable Resources Inc.’s proposed takeover of the Peoples Natural Gas Co. until an appeals court rules on the Commission’s appeal.
