Panel Disbars NY Lawyer For Obstruction Conviction

Law360, New York (June 17, 2011, 2:19 PM EDT) -- A New York attorney who admitted to facilitating a criminal $25 million “pump-and-dump” scheme was disbarred Tuesday by a New York Supreme Court panel.

Robert S. Brown, who has practiced law in New York since 1990, did not fight the disbarment, but said he hopes to “one day” reapply for admission to the bar, according to the court's decision.
