USPTO Widens Patent Prosecution Highway

Law360, New York (June 20, 2011, 4:42 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office announced Monday that it planned to begin or expand Patent Prosecution Highway projects — aimed at speeding up the patent application process — with South Korea, Israel, Denmark, Iceland and Norway.

The USPTO said it wanted to expand its ongoing pilot project with the Korean Intellectual Property Office, which began in June 2010.
