2 Of 3 Chinese Furniture Exporters May Escape Duties

Law360, New York (June 20, 2011, 7:48 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce said Monday that two Chinese furniture companies did not export folding tables and chairs to the U.S. at below-market prices, but a new shipper review showed another company did.

Commerce preliminarily determined that Feili Group Co. Ltd. and New-Tec Integration Co. Ltd. did not sell their products in the U.S. at below normal value during the period of review — June 1, 2009, through May 31, 2010 — but that Xinjiamei Furniture most likely did.
