Boeing Escapes ImageCube Patent Suit In Fed. Circ.

Law360, Los Angeles (June 20, 2011, 7:36 PM EDT) -- The Federal Circuit on Monday refused to revive ImageCube LLC’s patent infringement suit against Boeing Co., ruling that an Illinois federal court had properly interpreted a patent claim on a radiation-based process for manufacturing parts.

Monday’s unanimous decision by a three-judge panel means the likely end of ImageCube’s patent suit against Boeing, though litigation will continue against two co-defendants accused of infringing additional claims in the patent.
