Baldwin Barred From Rabobank Info In BP Deal Suit

Law360, New York (June 20, 2011, 7:02 PM EDT) -- A Louisiana federal judge refused Monday to allow actor Stephen Baldwin to research whether the court has jurisdiction over Rabobank NA, a party that was already dismissed from Baldwin's suit against Kevin Costner over a $52 million deal with BP PLC.

Baldwin and co-plaintiff Spyridon Contogouris were part owners — along with Costner, his business partner Patrick Smith, their company WestPac Resources LLC and others — of a joint venture called Ocean Therapy Solutions LLC that marketed an oil separating device, according to court documents....
