Members Of Much Shelist Form Own Firm

Law360, New York (May 22, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- As Much Shelist Freed Denenberg Ament & Rubenstein PC continued to grow, some members of the class action and complex litigation group decided to strike out on their own.

Six members left the firm they had practiced in for years and started Freed, Kanner, London & Millen LLC near Chicago earlier this year.

Steven A. Kanner, who had been with the firm for 25 years, said the group decided that antitrust class actions were better suited to the boutique model than to a hundred member firm....
