DOJ Settles With Arizona Health Group

Law360 (May 23, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association has agreed to settle claims brought by the U.S. Department of Justice alleging that it and its subsidiaries were illegally setting pay rates for temporary nurses.

Under the terms of the settlement, the association, which represents most of the health care entities in the state, will be prohibited from setting uniform bill rates paid to nurse staffing agencies.
