Gauthier Gets No Coverage In Baldwin Suit: Insurer

Law360, New York (June 27, 2011, 6:36 PM EDT) -- Continental Casualty Co. filed suit in Louisiana federal court Friday alleging it should not have to pay to defend Gauthier Houghtaling & Williams LLP in actor Stephen Baldwin's lawsuit over a $52 million joint venture deal with one of the firm's partners.

Gauthier partner John H. Houghtaling II was an investor in the joint venture Ocean Therapy Solutions LLC, which he helped set up with Baldwin and others. In the underlying suit, Baldwin and his co-investor alleged Houghtaling hid a $52 million offer from BP PLC...
