Fed. Circ. Tells Court To Review Honda Patent Defense

Law360, New York (June 27, 2011, 6:23 PM EDT) -- The Federal Circuit on Monday vacated a ruling that three patents American Calcar Inc. asserted against Honda American Motor Co. Inc. were unenforceable due to inequitable conduct, saying the issue must be re-evaluated.

The Federal Circuit remanded the inequitable conduct question for reconsideration in light of more stringent standards for proving inequitable conduct that it had laid out in Therasense Inc. v.
