Judge Sets Evidentiary Hearing In Seroquel Case

Law360, New York (May 24, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The judge overseeing the multidistrict products liability litigation over AstraZeneca’s bipolar medication Seroquel has denied a motion to compel the drug maker to provide eight files of key electronic and hard copy data.

U.S. Magistrate Judge David A. Baker rebuffed the plaintiffs’ request to suspend the rest of the data production until AstraZeneca hands over eight custodial files, and set an evidentiary hearing for June 13 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida on Wednesday.
