Appeals Court Remands Ford Trademark Decision

Law360, New York (May 25, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An appellate court has remanded a lower court ruling throwing out a consent agreement between Ford Motor Co. and Mustangs Unlimited Inc. over Ford trademarks.

In a decision Thursday, a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit said that Judge Paul D. Borman of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan didn't cite reasons for tossing the agreement. The appeals court sent the case back to the district court.
