Judge Appoints Collins & Aikman Fee Examiner

Law360 (May 25, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has appointed a Foley & Lardner attorney to serve as fee examiner in Collins & Aikman Corp.’s Chapter 11 case, hoping to silence the outcry over the millions of dollars in professional fees that have been racked up throughout the proceedings.

On Thursday, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Steven Rhodes officially appointed Judy O’Neill to the fee examiner role after first recommending the attorney earlier this month.
