Deere, Great Plains Resolve Seed Tube Patent Row

Law360, New York (July 5, 2011, 12:15 PM EDT) -- Deere & Co. on Tuesday resolved a suit filed in Iowa accusing rival farm equipment heavyweight Great Plains Manufacturing Inc. of infringing a patent for seed tubes used in agricultural seeding machines.

U.S. District Judge John A. Jarvey signed off on a joint motion to dismiss the claims and counterclaims filed by the parties. Details of the settlement were kept under wraps.
