Hancock Trustee Appoints Shareholders Committee

Law360 (May 25, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Trustee overseeing Hancock Fabrics Inc.’s Chapter 11 case has appointed an official committee of equity security holders in a move that signifies the fabric retailer will be able to pay off its creditors in full.

U.S. Trustee Kelly Beudin Stapleton filed a notice appointing the committee in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware on Tuesday.

The committee will comprise Hancock shareholders Berg & Berg Enterprises LLC, Trellus Management and Warren B. Kanders, the filing said.
