Conn. Paid Sick Leave Mandate Signed Into Law

Law360, New York (July 5, 2011, 8:09 PM EDT) -- Connecticut will become the first state to require certain service-industry businesses to offer employees paid sick leave, Gov. Dannel P. Malloy announced Tuesday after signing a controversial bill that will affect hundreds of thousands of workers in the state.
