Army Corps Dodges Ky. CWA Mining Permit Suit

Law360, New York (July 18, 2011, 8:42 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on Thursday won dismissal of a lawsuit challenging three nationwide surface mining permits, with a Kentucky federal court finding that the agency was correct in granting two of the permits at issue despite environmental groups' claims that they violated the Clean Water Act.
