Law360, New York (July 20, 2011, 2:01 PM EDT) -- In June 2011, the United Kingdom’s Office of Fair Trading (“OFT”) published two new sets of guidelines (or “guidance,” as it is known in the U.K.) aimed at improving the “competition culture” in the U.K. by helping companies reduce their risk of liability for cartel involvement and, in the case of dominant firms, their risk of abusing their position.
