Mo. High Court OKs $1.7B Great Plains-Aquila Merger

Law360, New York (July 19, 2011, 9:35 PM EDT) -- The Missouri Supreme Court on Tuesday affirmed a state public utility regulator's 2008 approval of the $1.7 billion merger of Great Plains Energy Inc. and Aquila Inc., but said rival Praxair Inc. should have been able to submit evidence to support its opposition to the merger.
