Edwards Calls For Probe Of Oil Industry

Law360, New York (June 1, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- With his presidential campaign in full swing, Democratic hopeful John Edwards has called for an immediate investigation into possible anti-competitive conduct in the oil industry.

At a press conference Thursday in Menlo Park, Calif., Edwards said action was needed to offer families relief from higher gas prices and that the stricter enforcement of laws would ensure free and open competition.
