Wolseley Sells Units To Saint-Gobain For $505M

Law360, New York (July 25, 2011, 2:25 PM EDT) -- Building products company Wolseley PLC said Monday it would sell its Build Center unit to construction giant Compagnie de Saint-Gobain SA, and is in negotiations to sell its Brossette plumbing-heating business to the French buyer, for a total of $505 million.

Wolseley said it would receive $236 million for Build Center, which generated revenue of more than $478 million for the 11 months that ended June 30. Over that same time Brossette generated revenue of more than $960 million, Wolseley said.
