Morrison & Foerster Unveils IP Venture Group

Law360, New York (November 19, 2004, 12:00 AM EST) -- General-practice firm Morrison & Foerster has launched a new group that will help evaluate the intellectual property of upstart life-sciences companies for venture capitalists.

The new group, dubbed the Venture Intellectual Property (VIP) group, was formed by life-sciences partner Tom Ciotti and Mika Mayer, an associate who has worked with Ciotti in expanding MoFo’s venture capital practice, the firm said.
