Kan. Senators Block Ex-AG's 10th Circ. Nomination

Law360, New York (July 28, 2011, 8:55 PM EDT) -- Facing opposition from two senators from Kansas, the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday refused to consider the nomination of former Kansas attorney general Steven Six to a Tenth Circuit judgeship.

Sens. Pat Roberts and Jerry Moran, both Republicans, wrote committee Chairman Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., this week to ask him not to consider Six, Leahy said at a hearing.
