Former Enron Broadband Officer Sentenced

Law360, New York (June 5, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has sentenced the former chief operating officer of Enron Corp.'s broadband unit to two years in prison for his part in the massive fraud that led to the energy goliath's 2001 implosion.

On Monday, U.S. District Judge Vanessa Gilmore slapped Kevin Hannon with a $125,000 fine in addition to the two-year prison stint, far short of the five years he could have received.
