Insurers Must Cover Birth Control At No Cost: HHS

Law360, New York (August 1, 2011, 1:14 PM EDT) -- Private insurance plans must provide several women's preventive health services — including contraception — free of charge, the Obama administration announced Monday. 

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius' announcement, part of the new health care reform law, makes official the recommendations released in July by the independent Institute of Medicine.
