Pharmacies Fight $29B Express Scripts, Medco Deal

Law360, New York (August 1, 2011, 1:46 PM EDT) -- A group of independent specialty pharmacies on Monday urged the Federal Trade Commission to stand in the way of Express Scripts Inc.'s proposed $29 billion acquisition of rival Medco Health Solutions Inc., arguing the tie-up would lead to higher prices.
