USPTO Fees To Increase, But Funding Diversion Could Continue

Law360 (November 23, 2004, 12:00 AM EST) -- In a setback for lobbyists who have fought the diversion of fees from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, U.S. lawmakers have voted to raise the fees charged by the USPTO but will still allow those funds to be spent elsewhere.
