EU Launches Review Of Chinese Fiberglass Dumping

Law360, San Diego (August 1, 2011, 5:48 PM EDT) -- The European Commission said Thursday it had opened an investigation after a European Union group alleged that Chinese exporters were illegally dumping certain fiberglass fabrics and causing material injury to EU industry.

The review is based on a June 16 complaint lodged by the Glass Fibre Fabrics Defence Coalition, which represents companies responsible for more than a quarter of total EU production of woven and/or stitched fiberglass fabrics, according to a notice in the EU’s official register.
