Senate Committee OKs Reid Aide For CFTC Post

Law360, New York (August 2, 2011, 7:05 PM EDT) -- A U.S. Senate committee granted its seal of approval Tuesday to the nomination of Mark Wetjen, an aide to Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., for a commissioner post at the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

The Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry gave Wetjen the green light after the nominee appeared before it for testimony last month.
