Mainframe Software Cos. Drop IBM Antitrust Claims In EU

Law360, New York (August 3, 2011, 1:43 PM EDT) -- TurboHercules SAS said Wednesday it had dropped a complaint with the European Union alleging IBM Corp. abused its dominance in the computer mainframe market, on the heels of similar withdrawals by two other rivals.

IBM said in a July 26 regulatory filing that those rivals, Neon Enterprise Software LLC and T3 Technologies Inc., had withdrawn their complaints with the European Commission.
