Audio Co. Accuses Phonic Of Flouting FCC Standards

Law360, New York (August 4, 2011, 3:43 PM EDT) -- Music Group Services U.S. Inc. — the company behind Behringer audio products — filed an unfair competition suit in Washington on Wednesday, claiming several of competitor Phonic Corp.'s products fail Federal Communications Commission radiation standards.

According to the suit, which makes unfair competition claims under the Lanham Act and the Washington State Consumer Protection Act, Taiwan-based Phonic sells several audio products that allegedly emit unsafe levels of radiation or other emissions.
