Agencies Look To Resolve Offshore Energy Dispute

Law360 (June 7, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Minerals Management Service said Thursday that they were close to resolving a dispute over who should oversee offshore renewable energy projects.

At a hearing of the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy & Natural Resources, C. Stephen Allred of MMS said his agency had sent a memorandum of understanding draft to FERC and was awaiting a reply.
